Art therapy
Immersion in the world of Art for me began with Art Therapy. This technique uses art and creativity to uncover hidden feelings and emotions that hinder living in harmony.
"Unfortunately, suppressed emotions do not die. They have been forced to be silent, yet they continue to influence a person from within" — Z. Freud
In my work with acrylic on canvas, I try to connect consciousness and the subconscious, feelings and reason. I write about the emotions of a person who is under stress and in internal conflict with themselves. I want to visualize such destructions as fear, anxiety, despair, doubts, inner emptiness, and pain.
In my works, I strive to evoke associations that reveal this negativity in human consciousness. I try to introduce the viewer to themselves and their inner self, to understand myself, and thereby learn to manage the settings of my inner world.
Style
I appreciate the style of Symbolism with elements of Surrealism. The images, symbolism, and other artistic techniques express a range of deep human emotions and help to reveal the essence of my works.
I invite the viewer to a dialogue and psychological reboot, giving them the opportunity to assess the reflection of their own mental discomfort. One of these techniques for me is color psychology. In art therapy, great importance is always given to color schemes; they are considered in conjunction with images, size, and shape.
The chosen colors help to understand feelings and emotions, connections with past experiences, play an important role and help relieve stress, improve emotional state and restore mental health.
I adhere to the concept that recognizing a problem is half the success in solving it.
Awareness and acceptance of one's negative feelings and emotions help to form genuine and sincere positive motives and memories, bringing them from the depths of consciousness and directing them towards emotional liberation and relaxation.
"The ultimate goal of any human activity is the attainment of peace" — Z. Freud
This is exactly the main goal of my creativity: the rehabilitation and transformation into emotionally healthy feelings and emotions.
