The history of creation

What happens to the emotions we do not express?

We hide them, bury them, ignore them... but THEY remain there, inside. And over time, they begin to affect us. Perhaps in a state of stress that doesn’t allow us to breathe. Maybe sleepless nights when thoughts are relentless. Or even physical  pain that we cannot explain.

This is how emotions arise that demonstrate a loss of  control over our own feelings and sensations.

A panic attack is a sudden, sharp episode of intense fear, anxiety, and helplessness. It is accompanied by physical and vivid mental experiences.

This work is part of the series “In the Company of Sigmund Freud”, in which the artist explores profound psychological states through symbolism and color.
